Since 1993 the Nebraska Conference has shared a special partnership with the Evangelical-Presbyterian
Church, in Ghana, West Africa. This Global Partnership has rekindled historic ties which reach back to the
middle of the 19th Century when Germans sent missionaries to organize churches both in Ghana and up the Mississippi
River at St. Louis. The photos (click each one to see a larger photo) are of the village of Dzemeni, Ghana.
2006 Work Camp
2006 Work Camp participants arrived in Ghana in June of 2006 and returned in July after a three
week stay. While in country, they assisted with projects at the Clinic in Dzemeni and the Children's Reading Room
and the EP Seminary at Peki. They also spent time in fellowship with both old and new Ghanaian friends, learning
about their culture, traditions and history.

2005 Study Seminar
In January 2005, seven representatives of the United Church of Christ and the Christian Church in Nebraska (Disciples
of Christ) traveled to Ghana to participate in a Study Seminar with their Ghanaian counterparts. The seminar was
a new extension of the Ghana Partnership between the two Nebraska denominations and the Evangelical Presbyterian
Church, Ghana. Following are a few photos chronicling some of the experiences of the seminar participants.
