Kamp Kaleo is a place for you! It is a place that values all people and the whole of God's Creation.

Kamp Kaleo, near Burwell, offers over 200 acres of woods and grassland, over a mile of riverfront, and an amazing variety of ecosystems. It provides meeting and summer camping space for the United Church of Christ and our partners the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in Nebraska.

Our summer camping program for the United Church of Christ and for the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) affirms people and allows them to explore relationships in the spirit of Christ's gentle, forgiving spirit. There are two kinds of summer camps: Unit Camps to which churches send groups of campers accompanied by adult leaders and Conference Camps to which each camper registers as an individual and comes to share with others from around the state. Our Summer Camping program serves those in grades 2-12. For information about registration and to schedule a visit the Kamp Kaleo Website.

You can meet or retreat here!

Our facility at Kamp Kaleo is perfect for meetings or retreats. In the Discovery Center, you can meet in comfort and watch the sun set across the North Loup Valley. You can stay in the Retreat House with a small group and have simple, clean meeting space along with your own kitchen. Cabins are also available.  Our lodge feeds 80 people. Our site has space for meetings large and small, for personal retreats, and for family reunions.

Kamp Kaleo is available for a wide variety of functions:
