Camp volunteers needed Camp makes a difference in the lives of children and youth who attend and in the lives of adult leaders. Camp makes a difference in YOUR congregation! Churches that send children and youth to camp benefit in many ways, one of which is spiritual growth. Camp is an exciting extension of the local church Christian education program, adding camper experience as an enrichment of local CE activities. Camp identifies church leaders and increases their abilities and desire to partake in church life. Kamp Kaleo is a fun-filled, spiritual place located on the banks of the Loup River in Burwell and offers a life-changing experience for our children and youth in the summer. But the camp cannot serve campers without a staff of caring adults to provide leadership and guidance. So how about stepping up to the plate and help make Kamp Kaleo a success in 2008? Luther, Conference/Regional Minister for Youth and Outdoor Ministries at Kamp Kaleo, is currently seeking applicants for the Resource Team for the Kaleo 2008 summer program. The program runs from May 21 to August 3. Judie is looking for persons with the ability to teach, work as part of a team, and willing to share their faith with others and who enjoy young people.
